MLE display
Today the office is buzzing with activity getting vans ready for tonights displays.

USB controller
MLE are pleased to announce we’re working on a FireByWire training course for the industry. Interest is overwhelming so it is very likely we’ll be running several each year for professional companies through to interested individuals.
Our firing system, FireByWire, is at the forefront of the industry and the more powerful it becomes the higher the requirement for training.
We feel the courses give the opportunity for users to discover new features as well as suggest or discuss developments or ideas. MLE have always listened very carefully to feedback given.
Courses are likely to cost £70 per person and will be held at venues to be announced in the near future. Both the programming and hardware teams are likely to be on hand.

MLE have just invested in brand new ADR plates for our vehicles, these ones are magnetic which makes it far easier to put them on our vans. They are required when we do larger displays or move van loads of fireworks around to customers.

MLE Unloading Professional Fireworks
- Fireworks – over 1000 cartons
Today our team unloaded a container of fireworks from China – over 1000 cartons of material to be used on professional displays around the world. 3 hours and 8 people – one of the heaviest containers we’ve had for a while. Meanwhile a meeting at Belvoir Castle for the forthcoming competition – Belvoir Firework Champions took place today, finalising the small details of the event – looking at improvements where possible and showing Alex, the new site manager, around. It’s all action at MLE at the moment!

Today we’ve teams out all around the UK firing wedding displays, the furthest show tonight is in Scotland. We fire displays up there many times a year – just a week ago St-Andrews saw a massive firework display provided by MLE.
Meanwhile those who have today off will be getting up early tomorrow to unload 30 tonnes of fireworks from China. Our second container this week with many more already ordered for delivery later in the year.
Our office is often busy on Saturdays – customers usually prefer to collect their fireworks over the weekend and we do our best to cater for them.

Fireworks don’t seem to be slowing down despite the current climate – but what we are finding is a larger number of last minute requests and bookings. Perhaps today is a fine example, a phone call at 4pm, a trip to the magazines, and a few hours later a team of 2 are down in Luton setting up for tonight. So please don’t be scared to ring us up – even if it’s out of hours we’ll move the earth to meet your demands… infact our team enjoy the challenge. 7:42pm, time to leave the office.
