Belvoir Castle Display 22 August 2009.
MLE produced a 10 minute pyromusical display for the 2009 Belvoir Firework Champions event at Belvoir Castle. The show was fired from 11 sites and included some very unique material. Emails were received from audience who’d spotted the heart shells in Moulin Rouge’s Come What May for the finale.
The team of 11 worked from 8:30am through to 6pm rigging the show. Choreographed by MLE’s Mat Lawrence who said “it was quite a technical display which enables clean sequences to be realised”.
FireByWire was used to fire the show which consisted of 500 firing cues from 11 sites on the fireworks side of the lake. 11 further sites of MLE’s Digital Flame were used on the audience side. Radio synchronisation was used to link the sites. The FireByWire system accounted for the 77mS of latency (radio delay) between the sites.
Belvoir Castle was host to the Firework Champions event this Saturday. 3 professional firework display companies produced a 10 minute pyromusical to tracks ranging from Take That to Queen.
Spyrotechnics were award 1st place, followed by Pyromania Displays.
The event was closed with a display by MLE Pyrotechnics. For more information, including details of the next event at Eastnor Castle on Sep 5th please visit – www.fireworkchampions.co.uk.
Several displays went out the door this weekend for MLE, one of the most enjoyable was a pyromusical for a wedding at Belvoir Castle. The fireworks were choreographed to 2 pieces of music - Carnival De Paris and You Raise Me Up.
The display was fired using our digital firing system – FireByWire. Wedding Fireworks start at just £600, and £1000 to music. For more information please ring us on 01327 876 037.
Quiet fireworks again… this weekend it’s now 7 displays MLE are firing around the country. A very busy week for the staff, with 2 of us down at Plymouth assisting one of the teams – mean while collections and deliveries of our professional CAT4 display fireworks and fusing/preparation for the weekends shows kept everyone else busy.
Lee and Ben have been working hard over the past few weeks getting ready for our normal weddings, but also for the MLE display at Belvoir Castle next Saturday (22nd August).
A photo from a display last week…
Tomorrow marks the start of the British Firework Championships held down in Plymouth.

Good luck to all.
Saturday we produced several displays including a lower noise show for a wedding in Northamptonshire. Low noise displays are very artistic which is why you don’t miss the noise and intensity of a normal firework display. Their are several levels of “noise” that we can work to and believe it or not we can go quieter than the display below:
Preparations are underway to prepare for the 7 displays we have this weekend all around the country – from Wales to Lincolnshire. 2 of the MLE team are helping one of the competitors at the British Firework Championships in Plymouth on Wednesday – so it’s a busy week coming up!

1000 firing cues from 11 sites, showcasing our brand new technology – Digital Flame
Pyromusical Displays take a lot of time and resources to plan. To give you an idea – the digital firing system used in this display alone is worth over £40,000. We’re busy taking bookings for November with several new enquiries this month already. If you’d like to discuss how MLE can make your event the best yet – please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01327 876 037 or mail@mlepyrotechnics.co.uk.
Meanwhile we’re busy getting ready for several shows this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at venues all around the UK, followed by the same ago every weekend in August. Wedding Fireworks are popular for this time of year and we’d like to thank all of the couples who’ve trusted MLE to provide their display.
Also it’s worth a quick mention, MLE celebrates 10 years in the business of providing Firework Displays and Fireworks to the industry this August – we’re busy planning a celebration for the team and we might even have a few fireworks!
Firework Champions at Stanford Hall had a great turn out considering the weather. All of the displays were excellent and we’d like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event.
See www.fireworkchampions.co.uk for more information on the upcoming events at Belvoir Castle (22nd August) and Eastnor Castle (5th September).
