MLE are proud to be working with Hitched.co.uk (the UK’s largest wedding portal), earlier in the year we were choosen as the recommended wedding fireworks supplier.

Due to the large customer base we have for our firework events, retail and trade customers we have invested in some new toys to help us process our enquiries and mailings even faster.  Currently we use high speed folding machines and staff insert the info into envelopes by hand.  This is fine when you’re sending 100’s or even 1000’s of letters, but MLE send around 30,000 a year now and staff are fed up of spending weeks stuffing envelopes.

The result… a folder inserter machine that will process our firework mailings at a rate of 2000 an hour.

Most of the displays in November finish with a curry or pizza, usually in the MLE office.  Crew are getting used to eating healthy food again!

A successful week of displays – our largest audience estimated at 150,000 people.

Now we’re gearing up for the Christmas lights displays, whilst firing weddings nearly every weekend for the rest of the year.  January will see our team out in China working on the latest effects for the next season.

Yesterday we were firing shows all around the UK – as you’d expect from a busy firework company.

FireByWire was used to co-ordinate several pyromusicals with music ranging from Moulin Rouge through to Queen.

Today we’re out again with yet more teams working across the UK – followed by the same again on Saturday, and Sunday, and next week…

Saturday MLE provided several displays for Halloween events around the UK.  The largest being a 10 minute display choreographed to music including Thriller, Ghostbusters and Phantom of the Opera.

This week we’re geared up for our busiest time of the year when we will be producing several large scale firework shows, some of which are set to music others just traditional bonfire fireworks.

Meanwhile wedding enquiries are increasing – perhaps due to the guy fawkes events going on.  We’re also taking bookings for New Year firework events.
